PFAFF Molds USA, based in Charlotte (NC), offers a dual education program which takes place in-house and at a local college in Charlotte. The program lasts 4 years and leads to a journeyman certificate and an Associate Degree in Mechatronics from the college. A monthly salary is paid throughout the program and even the college costs are assumed by PFAFF.
The dual education program, which combines theoretical knowledge and practical experience, provides the best possible preparation for the contemporary working world, plus excellent prospects of being taken on at the end of it.
Over the four-year period, you will acquire know-how in pneumatics, hydraulics, control engineering, machining, mechatronics, CNC machines (programming and control), electronics and design. This wide range of subjects will enable you to discover your own talents and interests and help you decide on your subsequent career.
